COLT OFFICIAL POLICE 22LR 6" BARREL CIRCA 1931 INCLUDES FACTORY LETTER THE FRONT SIGHT HAS BEEN RESHAPED AND TOUCHED UP WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE COLD BLUE. THIS REVOLVER INCLUDES THE FACTORY LETTER THAT STATES THAT THE CURRENT CONFIGURATION IS CORRECT. THE GRIPS ARE NOT LISTED IN THE LETTER. THE LETTER CONFIRMS THAT THE REVOLVER WAS SHIPPED TO CHAS. IIFELD COMPANY HAD LOCATIONS IN ALBUQUERQUE AND LAS VEGAS. THE REVOLVER WAS SHIPPED ON AUGUST 5TH 1931. THE REVOLVER ALSO INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL FACTORY BOX WITH A MATCHING SERIAL NUMBER LISTED ON THE BOX. THE REVOLVER IS IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION WITH ALL THE ORIGINAL FINISH SOME LIGHT-EDGE WEAR SOME BLUING TOUCH-UP ON THE RESHAPED FRONT SIGHT, AND A FEW LIGHT HANDLING MARKS ON THE GRIPS. THE BOX IS IN GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING THE AGE OF THE REVOLVER.
