This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .38 Short Rim Fire black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester circa late 1880's / early 1890's having the early and incorrect Oct. 24th 1871 Stetsons Patent date. In excellent condition with bright colors the primary and side seal labels are fully intact. The box is solid showing only slight corner rub wear and slight age soiling. An excellent box to display with your Model 1885 Winchester rifle or upgrade your Winchester ammo box collection.
