Description:
The Winchester Model 12 is a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun chambered for 2?¾-inch shells. This example has a 26-inch barrel fitted with an improved cylinder choke and a front bead sight. The receiver is steel, and the firearm is configured with a smooth wood pistol-grip stock and a grooved wood forearm. The shotgun was manufactured in 1949 and has a listed capacity of five rounds. Overall length is approximately 45?inches, with a length of pull of 13???inches.
The exterior finish has been reblued, and the wood furniture is fitted with a Pachmayr hard-rubber recoil pad. The bore condition is described as very good, showing strong shine. The serial number is 1,224,341, corresponding to post-war production within the pre-1964 manufacturing period. This Model?12 is used and retains the mechanical configuration typical of its era, including the solid steel receiver and tubular magazine system.
Included with the shotgun is the installed 26-inch improved-cylinder barrel and wood stock set. No additional accessories or packaging are specified. The firearm qualifies as Curio?&?Relic (C&R) eligible based on its 1949 production date.
