Description:
This re-arsenaled 303 Brit Enfield #1 Mark III has a blued tapered round 25” barrel mounted with a rear tangent sight and blade front sight. The bore is very good with sharp rifling. The Select Hardwood butt stock and forend have been sanded and stripped of finish but is sound with the exception of two sections of wood replacement. The right side of the buttstock has been carved by a previous owner. It is missing the rear section of the hand rail. There is a compartment in the butt stock to house a cleaning kit (empty) that is covered with a functioning spring activated lid in the butt plate. Scattered patches of metal pitting are seen throughout. The front sling swivel is missing. The action functions as it should. Comes with one ten round magazine. Length of pull is 13-3/4”, Overall length is 45”, Weight is 8.6 lbs. Factory wood to metal fit. Maker Unknown. Condition: Fair to Good.
