This is a Ruger Blackhawk in 44 Magnum. It is an early, three-screw gun that has never been modified/upgraded with a transfer-bar safety. Metal and wood finish are all very good to good, showing just very small handling marks in the wood and it shows bluing wear at the muzzle end from a case or holster. Otherwise the gun is in great condition.
