For your consideration, a Winchester model 1873 chambered in .22 Long. Excepting low contact areas of the barrel, the remaining finish has converted to a russet patina. Of note: several screw heads exhibit slot distortion and the dust cover does not fully retract upon cycling. This piece dates to 1888. .22 Long
