"Serial no. KB1294. Manufactured in 1942 at Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R,29 ½"" round barrel. The bore is very good with light frosting noted in the grooves while the rifling remains strong and well-defined. Serial numbers are non-matching. The metal has thinned to a smooth grey patina, most noticeable on the receiver. The stock shows expected handling and usage impressions from both wartime service and post-war use. The M91/30 was the standard Soviet infantry rifle during WWII and was produced in large numbers under demanding wartime conditions. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
