Hammerless Sidelocks - A fantastic Woodward in excellent condition. This is my favorite London maker. The choking is perfect for upland. Purdey Records on this gun: Woodward, No. 7155 Completed: 18 August 1943 For: C.F. Emison Description: A Lightweight Hammerless Ejector Game Gun Weight: 6lb. 4oz. Calibre: 12-bore Barrels: 27in. Vickers nickel steel Choke: I.C. & 3/8 Stock: 14 ½in. Notes: Straight hand stock with silver oval and chequered end Disc-set strikers Due to wartime regulations, no new guns were built after the outbreak of war in September 1939. However, guns could be finished, and so this gun was most likely in hand prior to the outbreak of war, and was then completed for Emison in 1943. It appears to be one of less than 20 guns sold during the war.
