Description:
The Ruger M77 bolt-action rifle is chambered in .270 Winchester and equipped with a 22-inch barrel. Manufactured in 1982, this model features a blued steel finish and a checkered wood stock with a capped pistol grip. The stock includes the factory red Ruger Eagle recoil pad, consistent with production from this period. The rifle uses Ruger’s controlled-round-feed bolt system and is designed for use with integral Ruger scope rings, which are included with this example.
The bore condition is described as very good, showing strong rifling and a bright interior. The rifle’s bolt action operates on a traditional turn-bolt design typical of Ruger’s M77 series. Metal and wood components retain the blued and natural finishes, respectively, with the overall configuration reflecting factory specifications from early 1980s production. This M77 is used.
Included with the rifle is a Nikon Monarch 5.5–16.5x44 mm riflescope featuring a BDC reticle. The optic is mounted using genuine Ruger rings that align with the receiver’s integral mounting system. No additional accessories or packaging are specified beyond the rifle and mounted scope.
