An Early & Scarce U.S. Civil War Field Medical Kit Made By "GEMRIG, PHILADELPHIA" In Very Fine Untouched Condition. All original throughout as shown. The Gemrig Co. made medical kits for the U.S. Military from 1860-1865. The set is very fine throughout including the tools which are maker marked and the brass bound case which is beautiful inside and out. The set is missing a tweezer, a small hook tool, one acapel, ant a turnicut. These are not hard items to find. The entire case closed measures 16 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches high. This Fine Early & Scarce U.S. Civil War Field Medical Kit Made By "GEMRIG, PHILADELPHIA" Would Look Great In Any Civil War Collection!
