Gorgeous, late production, Swiss Bern 1929 military Luger made 1944, NO IMPORT MARKS, all matching, original finish with correct magazine, mirror bore, and closely dated holster.

Description:

Late production Swiss Military 1929 Luger, cal. 7.65mmP (.30 Luger), this example without import marks made “44" with dark chocolate grips and matching-colored magazine plug. Standard features include 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed “U” rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on sideplate and bottom of barrel extension. All small parts with usual inspector markings. “P” release marking on left side of bbl extension. Forward frame recess marked “44” (month not marked). W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered chocolate brown grips with brown plug magazine. Complete with military holster, manufacturer marked and dated "43" between the belt loops, ownership markings having been inked on back and inside the lid, unmarked military style shoulder strap.

Condition:

Outstanding original finish pistol with 99% crisp original blue, no thinning on front strap or grip safety. The left panel is in comparable condition. The right panel has a few handling marks/chips at the rear border below the grip safety. Grip screws with straight slots. Excellent original magazine. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics. VG holster with use-related scuffs and staining. Previous ownership name having been marked on inner surface with additional markings inside lid as previously noted. Leather supple with intact stitching. You will look a long, long time to find an equally good pistol, even longer to find one without import marks!
