Beautiful, original finish, and all matching Mauser P.38 coded byf, made 1944 with Mauser accepted magazine, mirror bore, and correct matching-dated holster. A great ensemble!

Description:

All matching Mauser P38 pistol produced in 1944, cal. 9mmP, SN: 5200x, with 5" barrel, drift adjustable front sight and notched rear sight. The left side of the slide is marked P.38 followed by stacked byf /44 and the full SN: 5200x, the serial number repeated on the left side of the frame, front surface of the barrel lug, and the last three digits on the locking block. Waffenamt E/135 proofs and acceptances in the usual locations. Fitted with original ribbed black plastic grips secured with slotted screw and correct E/135 accepted magazine with eight indicator holes and detachable floorplate. Complete with original black leather holster marked "DLU 1944" over acceptance mark and "P38".

Condition:

Excellent, 99% bright original salt blue with only minimal sharp edge wear around the muzzle, forward slide, and right edge of trigger guard. Virtually no thinning / handling marks on front strap. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. VG+ holster with exterior scuff, the rear belt loop with repaired stitching.
