Barrel and cylinder retain a nice gray gun-metal patina. most of the original blue has worn away with light oxidation speckling. The cylinder engraving scene is very faint. The frame is mostly a ocher patina. The smooth walnut grips are in very fine condition retaining almost all of the original varnish with some minor handling marks. Very attractive grain figuring on the grips. The barrel markings are clear and legible. The barrel to frame fit ok . The action is functional with very good timing and lock-up.
