Holding Reverie illustrates that concept with a pistol that transcends the ordinary and invites you to lose yourself in a daydream of its intricate beauty. Conjured from a block of stainless steel, the Cabot Guns Reverie embodies the quality of both a precision instrument and of American craftsmanship in the form of a 1911-style pistol. Reverie features meticulously hand-engraved designs by renowned FEGA Emerging Artist-award winner (2023), Richard Quecke
Cabot’s trademark Tri-Star trigger is a hallmark of Cabot design created with the precision and craftsmanship that further define the Reverie as worthy of the Cabot name. The slide top features a series of precisely milled serrations, reducing glare and creating a seamless connection between the blacked-out U-notch rear sight and the golden “disco ball" front sight. This design element not only enhances functionality but also symbolizes the journey from darkness to light, much like a daydream that leads you to a place of clarity and inspiration.
As you gaze upon the Reverie, you are drawn into the three-dimensional curvilinear dreamscape that adorns the pistol. Fine shading and dark contrasts present both a spatial and tactile experience. Quecke develops these with fast movement, creating a visual flow from flats to rounds, harmonized with selective finishing techniques. The traditional slide serrations are replaced with distinctive deep-cut CG logos, adding a touch of modern elegance to this timeless piece. Flawlessly matched grips are crafted from solid, hand-engraved stainless steel, adding significant heft in the hand adding some 0.7 pounds of mass. But these grips aren’t just for looks.
