Browning Auto-5 16 gauge, manufactured in 1932 and imported by Browning Arms Company. This is a true pre-war Belgian-made example of John Browning’s iconic long-recoil semi-automatic shotgun—one of the most recognizable and historically significant sporting arms ever produced.
This shotgun features a 21-inch barrel fitted with a Lyman Cutts compensator, making it a handy, quick-pointing field gun. The action is smooth and tight, functioning as it should.
Condition:
Overall: Good, honest vintage condition
Metal: Shows minor pitting and light surface rust
Wood: Crack present in the forearm (common on Auto-5s of this era)
