Description:
A5 collectors: Known as an American Browning A5, this is a 1940/41 American-made Browning A5 20 Gauge. Made under contract by Remington from 1940 to 1946, when FN was prohibited from producing them by the German Government during WWII. It has an early Remington-type butt stock. The gun is in great shape for its age. The furniture has a couple of small marks, and the bluing shows some thinning. There is no rust or cracks on this gun. There are very few of these to be found anywhere. Notice the engraving on the receiver and the serial number on the side of the receiver during these six years.
This is a used item. While we do not test-fire our used firearms, we perform an inspection and function check to ensure that they are fully functional to the best of our ability.
