Description:
The Ruger Mark II Target Competition Model is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR. It features a 7-inch slab-sided barrel and stainless-steel construction throughout the frame and receiver. The pistol is configured with a 10+1 capacity and utilizes a single-action blowback system typical of the Mark II series. Its finish is stainless, complemented by brown laminated wood target grips with a left-side thumb rest. The design incorporates a manual thumb safety and an adjustable rear sight suited to precision shooting applications.
This Mark II is used and shows a very good bore with strong rifling and bright interior surfaces. The Majestic Arms Ltd. Speed Strip Kit has been installed, allowing simplified takedown and reassembly. The pistol’s mechanical components are consistent with the Target Competition configuration, including the extended bull barrel and slab-sided profile that reduce weight along the upper receiver. Serial number 218-12441 indicates production in 1993.
Included with the pistol are the factory box, instruction manual, Genuine Ruger Scope Rings, two 10-round magazines, and the installed Majestic Arms Ltd. Speed Strip Kit. The combination of original Ruger packaging and accessories provides a complete set consistent with the model’s original distribution. The stainless finish and laminated wood grips present the standard Ruger Target Competition appearance for this production period.
