The P.O. Ackley custom Mauser Model 98 in .270 Mag is a highly collectible, expertly crafted rifle featuring a custom Mauser action, Ackley chambering, and often supplemented with premium optics, making it both historically significant and functional for precision shooting.
At the time of manufacture, there would not have been other .270 cartridges, so the barrel is only marked as .270 Mag.
There was a fix on the stock at the pistol grip, with a lag bold inserted for repair.
Good condition.
