Offered here is a custom-built rifle chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, built on a highly respected Sako AIII long action and fitted with a 26½” Shilen barrel and radial muzzle brake. This rifle represents a serious hunting and long-range platform built with premium components throughout.
The Sako AIII action is widely regarded as one of the finest commercial long actions ever produced. Manufactured in Finland, these actions are known for their exceptional machining quality, smooth bolt travel, strong extraction system, and outstanding reliability. They have long been favored as foundations for custom builds.
The rifle is fitted with a 26½” Shilen barrel, a name synonymous with precision and consistency. Shilen barrels are well known in the precision shooting community for their quality rifling and accuracy potential. The barrel is chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, one of the most versatile and proven long-range hunting cartridges available.
The stock is a McMillan composite stock, offering superior strength, rigidity, and weather resistance compared to standard factory stocks. McMillan stocks are widely respected for their stability and are commonly used in serious custom hunting and long-range rifles. Length of pull measures 14½”.
A Swarovski 3–9x36 scope is mounted on the rifle, providing exceptional optical clarity and low-light performance. Swarovski optics are known worldwide for premium glass quality and reliability in demanding field conditions.
