This Smith & Wesson revolver is in excellent condition. It is a pre model number gun. It has a "S" prefix serial number. The "S" series serial numbers were produced between 1949 and 1969. Information indicates that Smith & Wesson started using model numbers in the late 50s It has a combat trigger and hammer. It comes with a soft case. It is a beautiful example of Smith & Wesson craftsmanship and would make a great addition to a collection. .357 Magnum
