"Serial no. 9130366999 (importer). Manufactured in 1943 at Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R,29 ½"" round barrel. The bore is dark with oxidation noted in the grooves while the rifling remains visible. Serial numbers are matching, though the bolt is unmarked. This rifle is a former PU sniper configuration, with the scope mounting holes on the left side of the receiver having been filled/covered during post-war refurbishment—common for rifles returned to standard infantry use. The rifle shows typical signs of Soviet arsenal refurbishment and remains in overall very good condition. The stock exhibits expected handling and service wear. The M91/30 served as the backbone of Soviet forces during WWII, with PU sniper variants being among the most widely used sniper rifles of the conflict.
