This is the Colt Army Special Revolver manufactured in 1924 and shipped to Charles William Stored in Brooklyn, New York. The metal surfaces show about 85-90% original blue with the barrel having a mottled appearance with some touched up spots of a later added blue, the frame and cylinder showing some scattered finish loss and handling marks. The rubber grips remain in near excellent condition with the fit slightly proud at the bottom and uneven aging with the left panel scratch numbered to a different gun and the right one appearing more chocolate brown and not numbered. The action functions properly with tight lock up. It comes with a Colt Factory Letter. A fine example of a desirable Army Special revolver. FFL or C&R Price: $1,075.00 Curio/Relic: Yes |
