Built on Smith & Wesson’s renowned L-frame, the Model 686 has long been regarded as one of the most durable and well-balanced double-action revolvers ever produced. The -7 variation represents a refined modern iteration, offering strength, reliability, and smooth operation in a versatile platform.
This example remains in unfired condition and is accompanied by its original factory box. The revolver features a satin stainless steel finish, six-shot cylinder, and factory Hogue-style rubber grips that provide excellent control and comfort in the hand.
The 2.5” barrel configuration makes this revolver particularly appealing, offering improved portability while maintaining the shootability and balance the L-frame is known for. It is equally suited for carry, home defense, or range use.
Sights consist of a fully adjustable rear paired with a red ramp front sight, allowing for precise and adaptable sighting whether shooting .357 Magnum or .38 Special ammunition.
