Description:
Pre-owned Remington Rand M1911A1 U.S. Army in Very good condition. This M1911A1 served as the standard-issue sidearm for the U.S. Armed Forces, from 1926 to 1985. Built off of the original M1911, this model features a shorter trigger, arched mainspring housing, and a longer grip safety tang. Stamped with the original marking from the United States Military and Inspector of ordnance for Rochester, Lt. Col. Frank J. Atwood, this handgun is a piece of WWI and WWII history, with this particular handgun having been manufactured in 1943. Bore looks good throughout, the metal frame and slide have light scratches but are in good condition. Minor crack on the top of the left plastic hand grip. Overall this gun looks great and is the perfect addition to any collection. Includes 1 magazine.
