The Ruger LC380 is a compact, hammer-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in .380 Auto. It was developed as a "softer-shooting" alternative to Ruger's LC9, utilizing the same frame but with a lighter-recoiling caliber. This makes it particularly popular for shooters who find small 9mm pistols too "snappy" or have difficulty racking the slides on larger-caliber handguns. It features a lighter recoil spring, making the slide significantly easier to manipulate.
