Chambered in .44 Remington Magnum, it is an excellent close-range (100–150 yards) rifle for deer hunting, featuring a reliable 4-round rotary magazine. Its quick lever action and compact design make it ideal for brush hunting, though it is no longer in production. It uses a rotary magazine, similar in design to the Ruger 10/22. .44 Remington Magnum
