This is a Winchester model 65 chambered in 218 Bee. Made in 1934 according to the serial number. This rifle is in very good condition and has a very nice patina for its age. As you can see from the pictures, it has a few small modifications. One being the comb or cheek rest has been flattened slightly. ( probably to help one of the previous owners to shoot more accurately ? ) The other being the barrel being drilled and tapped for some type of scope mount. Other than those few modifications, this is a great classic Winchester model 65 in a very desirable 218 Bee. This would certainly be a great addition to any Winchester collection.
