Offered is a classic Colt Officer’s Model chambered in .38 Special featuring the desirable 6” heavy barrel configuration. This revolver represents early post war Colt target production, manufactured circa 1951 based on serial number 643342.

The heavy barrel provides excellent balance and stability, while the adjustable front blade sight allows fine elevation adjustment. The revolver retains strong original finish and presents cleanly with well preserved walnut grips. Cylinder, frame, and barrel markings remain sharp and correct.
The Officer’s Model series is widely respected for its precision lockwork and smooth Colt double action trigger pull. These early 1950s examples represent a transitional period in Colt target revolver development and are increasingly sought after by collectors of classic American revolvers.
