Offered for sale is a pre-war Smith & Wesson .32 Regulation Police revolver chambered in .32 long S&W. This example features a 4-inch barrel, fixed rear sight (grooved top strap), and half-moon front blade sight. It is built on the small I-frame with a 5-shot swing-out cylinder and traditional double-action operation.
Serial number 3447 places this revolver in early production, likely late 1910s to early 1920s manufacture. These Regulation Police revolvers were designed as durable service sidearms and remain a classic example of early 20th century American law enforcement firearms.
