Offered for sale this week is an amazing example of the Prewar Colt Officers Model Target in 22 LR. These revolvers were the finest pistols of thier day and were seen in the hands of neary all of the pro shooters. Finely finished with hand honed actions. This pistol is documented with a factory letter as being a single gun shipment with a special order "bead" front sight. I believe the standard sights were of the patrige variety so this buyer evidently wanted the bead style instead.
This pistol is about as nice as they get! Grips are mint! Bore and mechanics are in excellent and in working order.
