Beautifully proportioned, expertly crafted, and richly appointed, this refined double barrel embodies the balance, style, and mechanical excellence that made prewar German guns so respected among discerning sportsmen and collectors alike.
This handsome Greifelt is fitted with 26 inch solid rib barrels displaying bright and shiny bores, choked Improved Modified and Improved Cylinder, offering a wonderfully versatile combination for upland game or sporting use. The chambers are factory marked 2 5/8 inch and have been professionally opened to the more practical 2 3/4 inch length, enhancing usability with modern ammunition.
The receiver retains attractive case coloring and is beautifully embellished with a finely executed factory engraved game scene, surrounded by elegant floral scrollwork of notable depth and quality. The engraving is tasteful, refined, and entirely in keeping with a best-quality continental sporting arm.
