For your consideration, the Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) P.08 semi-auto pistol chambered in 9mm. The P.08 produced from 1898 through 1949 by multiple manufacturers in mainly 7.65x21 or 9x19. This is a commercial model indicated by the proof Crown over B & U and a barrel proof of Crown over B, U & G. With those proofs, dates this P.08 to 1902 or 1906 because they only coincide for those two specific years. 9mm Luger
