The 7400 is a woods runners rifle, at its best in the dense woods where the action can be sudden, and fast. The carbine version is even more suited to such conditions as its short overall length is even more agile. This one is in excellent condition with only minor (cosmetic) handling marks. It may have been fired some, but not much. The barrel code "XY" leads to a YOM of 2003. .30-06 Springfield
