Tommy Kaye engraved custom Winchester Model 21 12 bore ejector gun with 28” barrels. The gun is choked skeet and improved cylinder. Length of pull of 14 1/8” to a red Winchester recoil pad.

Semi pistol grip, single selective mechanical trigger, auto safety, “R” and “L” for barrel selection engraved by the trigger, hold open top lever, custom side-plates, pierced top lever and trigger guard, beavertail forend, matted concave rib with front and mid beads, fluted comb, checkered wrist and forend with mullered borders. The barrels are a combination of dovetail and chopper lump styles. Serial numbers match on the action, barrels, forend iron and, forend wood. Housed in a leather leg-o-mutton case. Circa 1953 gun with 2 ¾” marked chambers. The chambers measure 2 ¾”.

Engraved and signed by the master engraver Tommy J. Kaye (1938-2015) of Yoakum, Texas. Tommy Kaye was a founding member of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America (FEGA), and its first Vice President. Scroll and relief engraved game scene vignettes. Bobwhite quail on the right, mourning doves on the left, and a turkey on the underside. Gold border on breach ends with relief engraved pointer on the right and a setter on the left barrel. French grey action and blued furniture. A handsome walnut stock with some figure. In excellent overall condition. Pristine bores and excellent bluing on barrels. Crisp and clean checkering. Excellent stock and forend with very little evidence of use other than one small noticeable scratch on the right side of the stock. Top lever left of center, barrels on face, and ejectors in time.
