The Franchi Imperiale Montecarlo side-by-side shotgun is considered one of the masterpieces of the Italian firearms industry. The “Extra” version is distinguished by engravings made by renowned master engravers of this art. The firearm offered here features engravings executed by Master Medici, who created extremely fine decorative motifs with incredible precision.
The gun is equipped with classic Holland-type sidelock mechanisms, with a triple Purdey locking system. The barrels are joined using the Demibloc system and are therefore machined from solid steel. The example offered is in perfect condition, suitable for inclusion in a collection.
