Description:
This Winchester was produced in 1902. This rifle's serial number is 254122. It has a Winchester replaced 26 inch octagonal barrel chambered for the 25-35 W.C.F. cartridge. The bore is in very fine bright condition with sharp lands. The sights are original to this rifle. The action works crisply with no issues. The original barrel blue would rate a 50% or better condition. The receiver has been cleaned using something with a slightly abrasive surface. The stock and forend show much use and wear. There is no cracks with this wood. The stock itself has many light dents most likely from being in a saddle boot. This rifle shows being used on a ranch or frontier used. This rifle will still shoot very well with nice accuracy. This rifle should appeal to collectors that look for historical Winchesters!
