SUPERB CONDITION STEVENS-LORD No. 36 .22LR TARGET PISTOL, #1XXX. This was Stevens top of the line target pistol made from 1888-1911 with about 3500 being produced. This example with 10” half octagon barrel appears to have seen no real use. It retains about all the original bright nickel on the frame and nearly all the original deep blue on the barrel, hammer and trigger. The screw heads are excellent and the sharply checkered grips are also excellent. Exc. sharp markings. Correct original small buckhorn rear sight with elevator bar intact and original bead front sight. Very tight action and bright excellent sharp bore! If you want the best, this could be it.
