Description:
The Remington Rolling Block Model 4 is a single-shot rifle chambered in .32 Rimfire. It uses the classic rolling block action and features a 24-inch octagon barrel. The rifle has a takedown configuration, allowing the barrel assembly to be separated from the receiver. Metal surfaces show a gray patina consistent with age, and the rifle retains fixed sights. The stock and forearm are wood with a straight grip design and a crescent-shaped metal butt plate.
This rifle is used. The wood stock shows a visible crack on the left side near the tang. The bore is dark from age, and the locking action has minor looseness when closed. Despite these age-related characteristics, the mechanical components remain complete and functional in configuration. Serial number 0233016 is stamped on the underside of the barrel.
Included with the rifle is its original wood furniture and metal butt plate. No additional accessories or packaging are specified. The firearm qualifies for Curio & Relic classification based on its design and production era.
