Description:
Up for your consideration is a sporterized Gewehr 98, which has been rebarreled for the .257 Roberts cartridge. This rifle was drilled and tapped for a Weaver K10 scope, and sits in a Bell & Carlson Monte Carlo stock. The bore is in very good condition, but cosmetically the gun does have some bluing that has worn down, and a couple spots with old pitting. Would make for a decent unsporter project.
