Standard configuration High Standard Olympic I.S.U. pistol, cal. .22 Short, SN: ML16767, with 6.75" barrel having integral ported muzzle brake with detachable ramped patridge front sight and fully adjustable frame-mounted rear sight. Left side of barrel marked ".22 SHORT" with "OLYMPIC" on the frame and "HIGH STANDARD" on the slide. The right side of the barrel marked with the High Standard address in Hamden, Connecticut, the full serial number just below on the frame. Fitted with the correct pair of large/small flat-bottomed counterweights, each secured with a single Allen-head screw; push-button barrel disassembly; coarsely checkered walnut grips, the left panel with a generous thumb rest for the right-handed shooter. Ten-shot magazine, the left side with 5 and 10-shot indicators, unmarked steel base. Complete with original factory box labeled "OLYMPIC I.S.U. MILITARY AUTO. TARGET PISTOL" with 63/4" barrel, 10-shot capacity, Model 9238, manufactured in Hamden, Connecticut.
