Standard Waffenfabrik Bern K31 Swiss Military rifle, cal. 7.5×55 Swiss, with straight-pull action manufactured from 1933-1958, this example SN: 735200, made 1942, with 25.67-inch barrel and walnut stock. Detachable W/F Bern globe/post front sight mounted over military base and the original front sight blade. Tangent rear sight graduated from 1-15. Full serial number on the left side of receiver, repeated on top of the bolt and on the bottom of the magazine; the last three digits “200” on the left side of the barrel shank. Detachable W/F rear sight allowing fine-tuned click-adjustable windage/elevation changes, no modifications made to receiver, with rotatable diopter insert. VG/EXC arsenal finish with sharp edge wear and handling as expected from a military rifle made 1942 that saw limited service use. The "P" release on the barrel shank with expected haloing, the magazine having been refinished. The handguard and stock have been refinished/revarnished, the acceptance on the right side of the buttstock visible under the varnish. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics.
