-- PRICE DROP-- *NICE* Early Savage Model 99G Takedown. Mfg in 1929. .303 Savage cal. 22" barrel with excellent bore. Rifle retains roughly 80% of its original metal finish. Barrel blue has faded towards a brown patina. Receiver blue shows fading and light usage wear. Some light staining visible as well. The lever case color is still quite vivid. Pretty nice for near 100 years old. The deluxe factory checkered wood has been nicely refinished, however the lower tang is a little proud. Small bit of wood missing at toe, however, not real noticeable. Original sights with added recent production Marbles tang sight to original holes.
