Offered here is a truly exceptional Belgian Browning Superposed Diana Grade chambered in 28 gauge with desirable 2 3/4” chambers and rare 29 1/2” ventilated rib barrels. Serial number 324MR04692. This configuration represents one of the most refined and scarce small-bore Superposed combinations produced by FN.
Long-barreled 28 gauge Diana Grades are seldom encountered. The extended 29 1/2” barrels provide a beautifully smooth swing, extended sighting plane, and exceptional balance while preserving the liveliness that defines the 28 gauge. At just 6 lbs. 8 oz., the gun carries effortlessly yet settles with authority.
The receiver features classic Diana Grade deep relief scroll engraving with detailed game scenes framed by finely executed borders. The engraving remains sharp and crisp with strong edge definition throughout. The long tang, engraved trigger guard, and sculpted action contours reflect the upper-tier craftsmanship associated with Belgian Superposed production.

Condition is outstanding and consistent with as-new presentation. The barrels retain strong original Belgian blue with sharp rib matting. The receiver shows no loss of engraving detail or softening of edges. The walnut stock displays excellent figure, rich factory finish, and crisp checkering throughout. Mechanically, the gun remains tight on the face and functions exactly as intended.
Diana Grade small-bores have long been recognized as some of the most desirable variants within the Superposed line. A properly configured 28 gauge with extended barrels in this condition offers both refined field performance and serious collector appeal.
