Made in 1958 and DEEP RELIEF HAND ENGRAVED. and the stock engraved and carved by a MASTER ENGRAVER. Just beautiful. Drilled and tapped for scope. Folding rear sight and hooded front sight. This weapon is like new except for a couple of tiny handling marks on the stock.. This weapon is 68 years old and looks like it just came from the engraver.. You have to see this rifle to really appreciate the quality and rarity of this type of hand engraving. Long before the use of lasers.This was done by Hammer and chisel. . The Stock is engraved to perfection in the same style as the rifle. It has a highly polished jeweled bolt. Nothing bad can be said about this weapon. This is for the most discriminating Collector of fine firearms and Pre 64 Model 70's. The cost of the metal engraving alone would cost you in excess of $10.000 today, not counting the cost of the rifle or carved stock. Priced to sell Quickly. Nothing like it.
