Description:
Extra length 26 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a shiny bore with strong rifling. Sights include a Beech's combination front and sporting rear. Barrel has faded to a brown patina and shows edge wear. Special order button magazine. Nickel plated receiver has traces of nickel with the balance fading to gray. Traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Traces of blue on the loading gate. Crisp functioning action. Walnut stock set have darkened with age but still show a little extra figure with some minor handling mars. Rifle style buttplate with no cleaning rod in the trapdoor. A special order Winchester with hard to find 26 inch barrel that was made in 1881.
