Offered for sale is a beautifully presented matched pair of flintlock pistols in the classic English dueling style, housed in a fitted presentation case and retailed by G. Gedney Godwin, a well known supplier of historical military arms and accoutrements.
This set is an excellent example of a high quality reproduction of traditional dueling pistols, executed with strong attention to period detail and craftsmanship. Both pistols feature octagonal barrels, finely engraved lock plates, and brass mounted stocks with graceful lines consistent with late 18th century English styling.
The pistols are matched and fitted within a wood case lined in vibrant red felt, creating a striking and traditional presentation. The interior lid retains the original G. Gedney Godwin trade label, reading: “Sutler - A Complete Line of Items Useful to the Military Man.”
Included accessories consist of:

Condition is excellent overall. The pistols show minimal handling wear and retain strong finish throughout. Mechanically, both appear clean and well preserved, indicative of careful ownership and light use, if any.
