Offered here is a quality U.S. GI-pattern walnut stock for the M14 / Springfield M1A platform. This is a classic military style stock featuring the correct selector cutout, making it compatible with true M14-pattern receivers as well as civilian M1A rifles.
The stock is constructed from solid walnut and remains in very good surplus condition. It shows light handling marks consistent with normal use but has no visible cracks, structural issues, or oil damage at the wrist. The wood retains a pleasing, even tone with a clean, serviceable appearance.
This example includes the original metal buttplate with trapdoor, as well as the sling swivel hardware installed. The inletting is clean, and the stock appears ready for installation or use as-is for a restoration or upgrade project.
These GI-pattern stocks are becoming increasingly desirable for shooters and collectors looking to return their M1A rifles to a more traditional military configuration or to replace worn synthetic stocks with classic walnut.
