This is the Second Vairiation of a Five Vairiation Series of LTD Models Marlin made for Davidsons over Five consecutive years begining in 1997 thru 2001 . All in 45-70 caliber.
They were The : LTDI-1997, LTDII-1998, LTDIII_1999, LTDIV-2000 and LTDV-2001
Each LTD Model Featured Vairiations Slightly Different from Marlin's 1895 Cataloged Models ,
This !895 Marlin / Davidson's LTD II Features : 24" bbl .I think 24" bbl is the perfect sweet spot between 18.5" and 26" , for handling and Sight Radiius using iron sights. Full Octagon Barrel, Ballard Rifling, Pistol grip Checkured Walnut Stocks and Marble front sight.
This example is NIB Complete, outer box is good with good Label, styrofoam tray is in fair condition with a few pieces of styrofoam broken off but is clean, styrofoam tray lid is good, Factory Manual and papers like new, Hammer spur in factory bag, Marlin Davidson's Factory Letter in excellent condition, Lock, Rifle is still in factory bag,
