Description:
22 inch round barrel chambered in 45-70 caliber with a bright shiny bore with worn 3 groove rifling and a few light spots of roughness. Sights include a pinned blade front and correct "C" marked 1879 rear sight. Barrel is a blue/brown color with crisp markings. Breech block is a blue/gray patina and is marked "U.S.Model 1873". Lockplate is a gray/brown with worn markings. The walnut stock has been lightly sanded and reoiled. No visible cartouche and a few impressions and handling mars. There are no cleaning rods & shell extractor present in the butt. Mechanically excellent and should be a good shooter.
