Description:
This is a very early Swedish Model of 1887 7.5MM revolver. Made by Nagant in Belgium.
Low Serial under 3000, Nagant could not keep up, so Husqvarna started to make these as well.
This one was issued to an officer, with the officers holster, L # is on the right side, so we know it is Swede issue,
Ammo is the same as the Swiss Revolver, available from Fiocchi as 7.5 Swiss, There are six cartridge loops under the flap, originally the Swedes mounted 12 loops, but this did not work out as intended, so most of the pepple grain holster for this revolver one sees today, have only 6 loops.
This one is fully functional and in very good condition with a very nice bore. The Belgians did not number the cylinder or its pin, so these are unnumbered, the rest of the numbers are all matching the frame.
This is your chance to get an Antique that uses available ammo, and that is in very good shape for 140 years old. There is some minor blueing wear, see pix for details, appears to be from use and age--no abuse.
